Being Windsor-based means Jade can be at a Taplow, Marlow or Beaconsfield venue inside half an hour on the morning of the wedding — calm and unhurried, never caught out by the M40 or the Thames bridges. Trials happen at her Windsor studio, a short run for brides coming in from the Chilterns or the Vale of Aylesbury.
Buckinghamshire is the county of the great named prep rooms — the Lavina Suite at Hedsor, the Lady Astor Suite at Cliveden, the Duplex at Danesfield. Jade has worked in all three, and knows before she arrives how each one behaves at eight in the morning in November as opposed to June.
Hedsor House, Cliveden and Taplow House are ten minutes from the Windsor studio, Burnham Beeches fifteen, the Compleat Angler twenty, Danesfield House and Crowne Plaza Marlow twenty-five. Waddesdon Manor, up in the Vale of Aylesbury, is the exception at fifty minutes — and Jade plans that morning backwards from the ceremony accordingly.
Hedsor’s Lavina Suite is three interconnected rooms with floor-to-ceiling windows. Cliveden’s Lady Astor Suite — where Meghan Markle stayed before her wedding — has light from every side. Danesfield’s Duplex Suite is complimentary and window-lit. These are among the best rooms Jade works in anywhere, and the looks are built for them.
Trials run at the Windsor studio, an easy trip from Marlow, Beaconsfield or Taplow: two hours to settle the look and test how it wears. On the day, stay-on touch-up kits are left with you, and for larger weddings Jade can stay on site to refresh makeup before the ceremony and restyle hair for the evening.
