An elegant Georgian country house dating from 1598, set in six acres of picturesque gardens and woodland in the heart of Taplow — home to five great tulip trees said to be among the largest in Europe. Warm, characterful and beautifully kept, it is licensed for civil ceremonies and offers both indoor and garden options.
Taplow House is right in the middle of Jade’s favourite corner of Buckinghamshire — moments from Cliveden and Hedsor House — so she knows this area inside out. It is a lovely, intimate country-house setting with real history and warmth, and the gardens are gorgeous in summer.

Getting Ready
Getting ready takes place in one of the hotel’s characterful bedrooms or suites, with bridal changing facilities on hand — an intimate, private space for the morning surrounded by period detail.
Historic rooms can sometimes be on the softer side for light, so Jade brings professional lighting alongside her full kit to guarantee flawless makeup application every time, whatever the room and weather are doing.
Capacity & Setting
Two suites are licensed for civil ceremonies for up to 80 guests, with evening receptions for up to 150 and marquee options in the grounds for up to 300. The hotel has 32 bedrooms including a master suite and several junior suites, so guests can stay right where the celebration is.
Six acres of woodland and gardens — with those famous towering tulip trees and a spacious garden terrace — make a beautiful, leafy backdrop, particularly lovely for a summer drinks reception spilling out onto the lawn.

The historic bedrooms have lovely character but can be softer on natural light, so Jade brings professional lighting to ensure flawless makeup every time. She works all over this part of Buckinghamshire and knows exactly how to set up here.
Taplow House is only about 10 minutes from Jade’s base in Windsor — one of her closest venues — so she can be there easily and knows the area extremely well. The tulip trees and terrace are worth allowing a little extra time for on a fine day.
