Waddesdon Manor
A breathtaking French Renaissance-style château built in the 1870s for Baron Ferdinand de Rothschild, now owned by the National Trust. Weddings take place at The Dairy — a restored Victorian waterside building with its own ornamental lake — or in the Manor itself for larger celebrations.
Waddesdon is like stepping into a fairy tale — a French château in the middle of Buckinghamshire, surrounded by lakes and gardens and sculptures. The Dairy is such a unique and romantic space for a wedding, and Jade loves the intimate feel of it combined with the grandeur of the Rothschild estate all around you.

Getting Ready
The Buttery, positioned next to The Dairy’s main building, is the dedicated bridal prep space, surrounded by gardens and sculpture. Dairy Cottage sleeping four is included with venue hire for the couple to stay on-site the night before.
The Buttery is intimate and charming, which is lovely for smaller bridal parties. For larger groups, Jade recommends starting hair and makeup at Dairy Cottage before transitioning to The Buttery closer to the ceremony — she’ll plan the schedule around both spaces so the morning flows perfectly.

Up to 150 seated in The Dairy’s West Hall, with ceremony capacity of 250. The Manor accommodates larger celebrations.

The setting at Waddesdon makes the morning feel magical — surrounded by the Rothschild gardens, the lake glittering through the windows, the château in the distance. Jade keeps everything running to time so you can actually take it all in.
She stays with you right through until you leave for the ceremony, handling touch-ups and making sure every member of your bridal party looks perfect against this extraordinary backdrop.

Waddesdon is about 50 minutes from Windsor — the furthest of Jade’s Buckinghamshire venues — so she always sets off nice and early. The drive through the countryside is beautiful, and she arrives with plenty of time to get everything set up.
If you’re staying at Dairy Cottage the night before, it’s the most gorgeous spot to wake up on your wedding morning. Jade can start there and transition to The Buttery when it’s time — she’ll have the whole morning mapped out so you don’t have to think about any of it.
