Waddesdon Manor
A breathtaking French Renaissance-style château built in the 1870s for Baron Ferdinand de Rothschild, now owned by the National Trust. Weddings take place at The Dairy — a restored Victorian waterside building with its own ornamental lake — or in the Manor itself for larger celebrations.
Location: Waddesdon, near Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire HP18 0JH — approximately 50 minutes from Windsor.
Getting Ready
The Buttery, positioned next to The Dairy’s main building, is the dedicated bridal prep space, surrounded by gardens and sculpture. Dairy Cottage sleeping four is included with venue hire for the couple to stay on-site the night before.
Capacity & Setting
Up to 150 seated in The Dairy’s West Hall, with ceremony capacity of 250. The Manor accommodates larger celebrations.
An ornamental lake, landscaped Victorian gardens, sculpture and the dramatic French château backdrop — a fairytale setting.
