A beautifully restored Grade II listed Victorian mansion set amidst 80 acres of gardens and parkland near Wokingham. Recently given a stunning refurbishment, it blends period character — ornate ceilings, grand staircases and elegant ballrooms — with fresh, contemporary interiors and is licensed for both indoor and outdoor ceremonies.
The restoration is gorgeous, and the venue feels grand without ever being stuffy. Jade loves the light, spacious interiors and the flexibility of the spaces, from the intimate Wedding Pavilion in the grounds to the show-stopping Downshire Ballroom.

Getting Ready
The bridal suite is spacious and elegant, with lovely views out over the grounds — a calm, private space for the bridal party to get ready together on the morning of the wedding. A honeymoon suite is also provided for the couple on their wedding night.
Jade brings her full professional kit and lighting to guarantee flawless application whatever the light is doing, and the room’s proportions make it a genuinely comfortable, relaxed space to spend the morning.
Capacity & Setting
Licensed for civil ceremonies of up to 110 guests across the Wedding Pavilion, the Downshire Ballroom or the Terrace. The Downshire seats up to 110 for a wedding breakfast and up to 200 for an evening reception, while the vast King Suite caters for celebrations of up to 480. There are 92 bedrooms on site.
80 acres of manicured gardens, fountains and parkland provide beautiful, varied backdrops — from formal terraces and water features to sweeping lawns and mature woodland.
