An independently owned four-star hotel and spa set right on the banks of the River Thames at Egham, just across the water from Windsor. Bright, contemporary and relaxed, with riverside suites, a terrace over the water and an award-winning spa, it is a beautiful choice for couples who love the idea of a riverside celebration.
The Runnymede is one of the closest venues to Jade’s base — just across the river from Windsor — and she loves the light, easy feel of it. The riverside setting gives a lovely sense of calm, and the modern suites are wonderful to work in for both makeup and getting-ready photographs.

Getting Ready
The hotel offers a dedicated bridal changing room and a honeymoon suite, with bright, contemporary rooms — many with lovely views over the Thames — making a calm, comfortable space for the bridal party to get ready together.
The modern interiors and river light are gorgeous for makeup, and Jade brings her full professional kit and lighting to make sure every look is flawless from the first face to the last.
Capacity & Setting
Two suites are fully licensed for civil ceremonies, with the venue hosting ceremonies for up to 140 and wedding breakfasts and evening receptions for up to 250. The Riverside Suite, with its own bar and terrace overlooking the Thames, holds up to 100 for a more intimate celebration, while the Grand Union Suite caters for up to 250.
The riverbank setting is the star — the Thames itself, the terrace over the water and the hotel’s bright contemporary spaces give a fresh, relaxed feel, with the river as a beautiful natural backdrop for photographs.

The contemporary suites have lovely natural light, especially the rooms overlooking the river — ideal for makeup — and Jade always brings professional lighting too, so your look is perfect whatever the day brings.
The Runnymede is only about 10 minutes from Jade’s Windsor base — one of her nearest venues — so she can be there with ease and knows it well. The terrace and riverbank are beautiful spots for a few relaxed photographs before the ceremony.
